Christmas Markets

One of my favorite things about Christmas in Europe are the Christmas markets. Most cities have a large market on the main square and smaller ones throughout the city on the smaller town squares. The town squares are usually in front of churches too. At the markets you can find traditional food and treats, crafts and gifts, and oftentimes you'll see performers.

In the previous years we've been to markets in Frankfurt & Nurnberg, Germany as well as Vienna, Austria. This year Brian & I visited the market in Dresden, Germany after a visit to the Temple. We also get to see lots of the local markets, since there are three withing close walking distance of our place and two more on the way to school!

The Christmas markets are definitely something about Europe that will be missed when we no longer live here!
