Summer Activities

Gutovka Park

Gutovka is our favorite park for the hot summer weather. It has a water-works and sand play area in addition to the regular playground equipment. Each year they seem to be adding more equipment and activities.

We like to meet our friends, the Reeves, to play in the sand and water.

Cam has always loved playing in the sand!

New this year are these giant climbing balls. You have to be strong enough to climb up the ropes to get into them.

Rollerblading

Last year Jess got roller blades for her birthday and this year Cam got some, so now we can make it a family activity. Cam did well for his first time; and we made it through the day without injuries.

Pausing for a lunch break.

Becca & I practicing our balance.

Enjoying the shade in the bench; Brian opted out of the rollerblading since his roller blades hurt his feet.

A Trip to the Zoo

No summer is complete without a trip to the zoo right? Here are the kids on the zoo bus, listening to their little MP3 players.

Jess testing the water with her feet; looks cold!

Cute monkeys, some of our favorite animals at the zoo.

Lucky for us it was feeding time.

The kids always want to have their pictures taken on this wooden carved tiger. This year it had a new coat of paint. Below you can check out how much Jessica has changed since the first summer we visited the zoo here in Prague.

We also like to see the giraffes; they have a great indoor and outdoor viewing area.
