Happy Birthday Jessica

Incredibly, our little girl has turned 7! Where does the time go, really? We had a fun little party with just our family, much to her dismay; she would love everyone to come to her birthday party. I think she's thinking, more people = more presents, but what child doesn't think that?

We had a birthday breakfast of sugary cereals, chocolate milk and donuts (The best way to start off the day, right? On a sugar high?). Then birthday lunch (The kids had 1/2 day of school that day.) of grilled cheese, quesadillas, and yogurt (Any guesses what her favorite food is...cheese!). Finally gifts, pizza for dinner and cake with ice cream. We also got to take the kids to a little indoor playland for her birthday activity the next day.

Jess with her gifts - She is like me, very specific when it comes to gifts, she doesn't give ideas or suggestions for possible gifts, but tells you exactly what she wants; no messing around with something I'm not gonna like!

Brian got this little mp3 player on the web several years ago for dirt cheap, we've just had it tucked away waiting for the right time. Cameron already purchased one from Brian, so now she's just like her big brother; she can walk to school with her headphones on listening to tunes!

She loves dogs and wishes this was a real one!

Trying on her new rollerblades, the apartment was not the best place for it so we took her out to the park this weekend. Turns out she is a natural and had the hang of it in no time, literally!
