Halloween

Halloween is a little different here, but still fun times! We found very small pumpkins, so this year we painted pumpkins instead of carving them. The kids were really not that happy about it, but they don't even like the clean-out part, so in the end the painting was fine.

There has been quite a bit of American influence at the Branch in Prague and the Czechs seem to like the idea of Halloween (a reason to dress up, have a party and eats lots of treats)! The party at the Branch was great this year. They had a fishing pond, cake walk, Frankenstein's laboratory, doughnut eating contest, costume contest and trick-or-treating. We invited some friends from school to join us and had a great time.

Here's Becca with her cake she just won, plus her fishing pond treat

Jessica having a try at the fishing

Brian in the doughnut eating contest

He won!

Friends at the party - Cam is a ninja and Jess is a roller-blader

Becca (and another "super-girl") won the costume contest!
