Prague Zoo

We decided to get annual passes to the zoo since it was so cheap and just going twice would almost pay for it. We have already been twice now, but still haven't seen the entire thing! It is a good sized zoo. There was a flood in 2002 that put half the zoo under water, ruining many of the structures, so it has lots of areas that are fairly new/remodeled.

We were lucky to be there on a day when they had some additional kid activities like games and face painting (see pictures below). Here are the kids with the flamingos. Becca thought they were pretty cool. She only makes one animal sound, which was originally for a dog, but she applied it to every animal she saw at the zoo!

Becca watching the seals in their newly remodeled area (reminds me of Sea World)

A giant half "Noah's Ark" that the kids loved climbing into.

The kids riding the wooden carved animals around Noah's Ark.

Jess getting her face painted.

Cam's turn for the face paint.

Jess riding the wooden carved tiger. Can you guess the animal of the day?

Yep, it was the tigers!
