Brno, it seems like a strange name for a city, but it translates to Chicago in English! Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic. In keeping with our goal to see more of the Czech, we planned a little day trip to check out this city. Most people will probably tell you there's nothing to see there, but we enjoyed our little family outing despite those opinions. We walked around the city center, saw some random sculptures, played tag on the pedestrian street, enjoyed the beautiful buildings and found some treats too.

Enjoying a trdlenik

A sculpture of light bulbs dedicated to Thomas Edison who installed electricity in a local theater.

Alligator hanging from the ceiling?

This sculpture looks like a giant bullet; I'm pretty sure it was a 360 degree, rotating spy camera.

Half of this building looks like a ship!

Looks like a cool town to me! Even better that you are the only ones on the street so you could play tag!
